The Love We Make is a cinéma vérité documentary film by Albert Maysles. The film chronicles Paul McCartney's experiences in New York City after the September 11, 2001 attacks, following him as he prepared The Concert for New York City October 2001 benefit event.[1] McCartney was on an airplane taxiing at JFK International Airport, about to depart for the United Kingdom, when the attacks occurred, and he wanted to do something to uplift and benefit the first responders in New York, so he arranged this concert. The film chronicles McCartney's planning and backstage experiences with the other participants in the concert. The film premiered on Showtime on September 10, 2011 – the eve of the 10th anniversary of the attacks. The film's title comes from a line in The Beatles' song "The End".

Paul McCartney já havia nos surpreendido em 2006 por ter cantado Yesterday com Jay-Z, o rapper esposo da Beyoncé e de músicas com qualidade contestável (apesar do vídeo original ser uma parceria da banda Linkin Park com o rapper, este ficou apenas gemendo seus hums, that's right e estragando os vocais de Sir Paul, ao contrário do vocalista da banda que, notavelmente, aproveitou o momento).
Agora o ex-beatle ataca novamente. Uma parceria totalmente inusitada pegou todo mundo de surpresa ao ser anunciada no site oficial do artista britânico: Only One feat. Paul McCartney. A música de Kanye fala sobre sua filha. Comentários de fãs do "artista" dizem que ele faz bem em levar novos artistas ao estrelato, inclusive o tal de "Paul McCarthy", assim como perguntas de "quem é o tal Paul McCartney que canta com o Kanye?". Já na página de Paul encontramos:

This is the first song in Paul's career that I will not listen to and I can tell you I can't stand it. I can't stand Kanye West and I am disappointed in Paul for collaborating with such a disgusting person. (LINK)
